Reflective Films
The use of reflective films to improve the efficiency of the lamp, has over the last years increased significantly. These reflective films is in many cases replacing reflective aluminium, as they often are cheaper and easier to customize.
The excellent light reflecting performance often reduces the number of light sources needed and makes significant contributions to the power conservation. Furthermore the reflectors can perform both diffuse and specular reflectance.
These films comes in different thicknesses, with/without adhesive and all have a total reflectance of more than 97%.
Ingemann Components keep stock, fabricate and sell the leading brands within this field:
- I-Reflect is a portfolio of semi-diffuse reflectors available in 0,23 and 0,35mm thickness. These films are often used in combination with Light Guide Plates.
- White Optics offers the highest diffuse reflectance available due to its unique surface coating.
- McPET is the original white reflector from Japan, that consist of various versions. Common to them is it, that they are thicker and thereby offer great mechanical stability, while performing a more specular reflectance.
- Makrolon RX is an extruded polycarbonate sheet that is very suitable for thermoforming of bigger parts.
Light Laboratory
All products mentioned in this category can be tested individually or in combination with a complimenting component in our very own Light Distribution Laboratory; Ingemann Research Center. This can be done to give you the very best output-ratio, for your specific demands.
