AKRYLON
AKRYLON® is extruded acrylic amorphous thermoplastic material, that is characterised by a very high transparency (92% Light Transmission) and very good mechanical properties due to the solid material hardness and stiffness.
The extruded acrylic brand, AKRYLON®, is both UV resistant and has excellent outdoor durability and electrical insulation properties. AKRYLON® can be used in solutions regarding food and the material complies with all official European plastics related food legislations. AKRYLON® contains no poisonous substances or heavy metals, making AKRYLON® very easy to re-use. AKRYLON® is available in 70 different colours, opalescence and with different lighting properties. This material is closely related to CRYLUX® but have a slightly different handling process.
